Vostok Soviet Russian 5-CHM Submarine Clock. 5.5 in painted metal dial has grey Arabic hour numbers, a red star for 12 and anchor for 6, dial is centered with the painted submarine design above the Vostok makers mark and Made in USSR (C?????? B CCCP), has black hour and minute hands, red sweep seconds hand and regulator lever above. 8 day, spring driven, silvered movement has 12 jewels and platform lever escapement (balance does not swing). Cosmetically very good, noting wear to the plating, minor chip at 10 o’clock position. Excellent cosmetic condition overall, noting some fading to numerals and trailing smudges away from 3 and 9 o’clock positions.
