Chelsea U.S. Maritime Ships Clock. 5 in. silvered dial with large black incised hour numbers and 5 minute numbers outside, black open moon hands and sweep seconds hand, dial signed Chelsea Clock Co. and U.S. Maritime Commission, Ser. No. 4384. Brass 8 day time only spring driven movement has lever platform escapement, in good running condition and numbered 312047. In a brass case with forged brass tub and threaded flanged bezel with original glass, worn gilt finish, case numbered on the back 290544. Measures 7.5 in. dia. x 2.75 in. deep.

Seth Thomas Ships Bell Lever Clock. 6 in. silvered dial with painted black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, blued hands (replaced) and signed Seth Thomas U.S.A., brass spring driven one day movement with lever escapement, half hour count wheel ships bell strike mechanism with 2 hammers on a single bell mounted below the dial. The case is brass with worn nickel plated finish, bezel with beveled door glass and original figure 8 style wood backboard having a Seth Thomas paper label. Not running, has some typical age wear & tarnish to the case. 10.5 in. high x 6.25 in. wide x 3 in. deep.

In a tin tub case with brass finish and hinged door bezel. In running condition, some wear to the case finish and silvered finish worn from the dial. 7 in. dia. x 4 in. deep.

Boston, U.S.A., 314050Â. In a forged brass tub with threaded flanged bezel and a lacquered finish, matching number on the back of the case Â314050; case has some surface tarnish and spotting, in good working condition. 7.5 in. dia. x 3.5 in. deep.
