Chelsea U.S. Maritime Ships Clock. 5 in. silvered dial with large black incised hour numbers and 5 minute numbers outside, black open moon hands and sweep seconds hand, dial signed Chelsea Clock Co. and U.S. Maritime Commission, Ser. No. 4384. Brass 8 day time only spring driven movement has lever platform escapement, in good running condition and numbered 312047. In a brass case with forged brass tub and threaded flanged bezel with original glass, worn gilt finish, case numbered on the back 290544. Measures 7.5 in. dia. x 2.75 in. deep.

No. 2801Â, with incised white hour numbers and glow in the dark hour markers (9 of 12 missing), brass spade and pointer hands; quality brass spring driven movement with lever escapement, rack & snail ships bell strike mechanism on a blued coiled gong, movement signed ÂChelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S.A., 314050Â. In a forged brass tub with threaded flanged bezel and a lacquered finish, matching number on the back of the case Â314050; case has some surface tarnish and spotting, in good working condition. 7.5 in. dia. x 3.5 in. deep.
