Canadian. 1910s. Oak. The Maple Leaf model was made in four distinct styles. Collectors refer to them as "Points Up", "Points Down" and "Fan Top" and "Peak Top". This "Points Up" style features an 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a helical gong. Paper on reverse. Original paper dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada" lower edge. DIal with original paper insert. Original finish. Original paper inserts heavily darkened. Original maple leaf glass. Minor pressure splits to the gingerbread case. Correct maple leaf pendulum. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown.
