New Haven Presentation Banjo Clock  Willard. 8 in. metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced hands and signed The New Haven Clock Co. U.S.A.; brass spring driven movement has an half hour count wheel strike mechanism with a straight gong, long metal pendulum rod with short wood stick and brass covered bob. Mahogany banjo style case has gilt carved framing around the throat and tablet, turned gilt presentation beads highlight the lower bracket, gilt brass eagle finial, door bezel and pierced side arms; reverse decorated throat glass and tablet. In very good condition and original finish. 41 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

A late 19th century New Haven "Washington" model banjo clock. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with a silvered metal dial, Roman numerals and platform escapement, quarter hour Westminster chime. Mahogany case with an octagonal molded dial door, tapered waist panel lower door with the original tablets above a shaped drop. Partial paper label on back. Original finish with minor wear, lacks Chime/Silent hand, dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 41 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
