The large oak wall clock has a demon head with horns at the top and carvings of fruit and foliage below. The gilt 7.5 inch dial has porcelain black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; movement signed “J. Contour, A Paris.” Movement is wound tight, strike mechanism functions. Dimensions: 41 in. high x 25 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 22.10 lbs.

Description: Large Ornate Carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock:, Stag and Doe with Bird Finial, Circa 1890: With a 3 train 30 hour weight driven movement, which strikes on the hour and 1/2 hour with the cuckoo, followed by a music box playing 1 of 4 tunes every 1/2 hour. A cuckoo bird appears as the clock strikes and a Zither player appears when the music box plays. The base is comprised of deer antlers. (One antler is damaged.) Sells as is, where is.
