STATUE OF LIBERTY PARLOR CLOCK INGRAHAM CO.
Description
LOT CONSISTS OF A “LIBERTY” WALNUT PARLOR CLOCK MADE BY THE INGRAHAM CLOCK CO. ACCORDING TO RESEARCH FOUND ON THE INTERNET, THIS CLOCK WAS MADE FOR CHARLES ADAMS OF ERIE, PENN. MR. ADAMS MUST HAVE BEEN A RETAILER THAT BOUGHT CLOCKS FROM INGRAHAM. INSIDE BOTTOM AT ONE TIME HAD A LABEL WHICH READ “8 DAY LIBERTY” MANUFACTURED BY CHARLES ADAMS. LABEL IS NO LONGER PRESENT. THIS IS THE LIBERTY FOR THE STATUE OF LIBERTY ON THE FRONT GLASS. THE CLOCK APPEARS TO BE IS ALL ORIGINAL. THE MOVEMENT IS SIGNED BY INGRAHAM AND APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD RUNNING ORDER, HOWEVER WE HAVE NOT TESTED IT. MISSING THE FANCY PENDULUM AND ANY WIND UP KEYS. MEASURES APPROX. 23 1/2″ TALL AND 14 1/2″ WIDE. HAS SOME SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES. SOME OF THE EDGE WOOD PIECES ARE A LITTLE LOOSE, MAY NEED TO BE REGLUED OR NAILED AGAIN. THERE IS ALSO LIGHT CRACKS TO THE WOOD. FACE OF CLOCK SHOWS OVERALL WEAR. FROM THE ESTATE OF KEN SCHULTZ.
