French Empire Bronze Silk Thread Lyre Mantle Clock. 4.25 in. dore bronze dial with filigree border and center, black Roman hour numerals (repainted) and open moon hands. Bronze 2 tone lyre shaped case with finely relief decorated floral, filigree and grape vine design on the gilt front; pineapple finials on the sides, lioness head finials at the top and large maidenÂs bust crest, mounted at the base is 2 kneeling winged angles on either side of a large vase. Has a typical round French brass silk thread time only movement signed Douillo. 20 in. high x 7.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep

White marble lyre shaped case with brass mounts, 4.5 in. rhinestone bezel swinging around the dial with the movement of the pendulum. 3 in. concave porcelain dial signed ÂLenoire with black hour numbers, 5 minute numbers and fancy gilt pierced hands; round brass 8 day spring driven movement singed A.D. Mougin, has an half hour strike on a bell. Dial has hairlines, case is in good condition, movement is running. 17 in. high.

French Dore Bronze Lyre Mantle Clock. 3.5 in. metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and a fancy engraved center. 4 column, lyre-shaped case has taza and floral finials over long ionic style columns, a cross bar at the top with large floral side finials and classical figural maiden bust centered at the top over 8 vertical rods; the arched bottom has floral designs with a border of crossed instruments, acanthus leaf decorated stem and base. The inverted gridiron pendulum has a fancy decorated bob and hangs in the back of the case from a knife-point suspension at the top, having a pin in the rear of the bob which engages the movements crutch; has a round brass spring driven movement with half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a steel bell. In very good condition, has a very nice gold dore finish with no breaks, repairs or missing parts. 28 in. high.

French Lyre Mantle Clock. 4 in. porcelain dial signed ÂBalthazar, a Paris has black hour numbers and 5 minute numbers with a floral garland border, pierced filigree gilt hands and hinged door bezel with beveled crystal; typical brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂVincenti & Cie & ÂS&H ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell, matching pendulum number Â157Â. In a gilt spelter lyre shaped case with eagle head arms, hanging garland, acanthus filigree and a white marble base; signed with ÂFabrication Francaise, Paris foundry mark, in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs, no chips or cracks in the marble, no hairlines in the dial and a nice clean original finish. 17.5 in. high x 6 in. wide x 6 in. deep. Weight: 15.5 lbs.

French Louis XVI Lyre Clock with time and strike movement and a 4 1/2″ floral decorated convex porcelain dial with seconds and quarters numbered 3623. The mock gridiron pendulum simulates the strings of a lyre and a ring of paste brilliants encircle the dial and are part of the pendulum. The hands also form as a lyre. The clock is white marble and decorated with a gilt metal floral garlands and torches. Clock is running at this time.
