Mahogany case with carved Thistle crest, two pane upper door with reverse painted tablet flanked by turned columns with carved capitols over a lower door with reverse painted tablet, on a stepped base with ball feet. Not tested.

(There is no pendulum. The dial is cracked. The case is scuffed, scraped and has some small splits. The back of the case is split. The interior label is rough.)

Forestville Mfg Co. Triple Decker Clock. Painted wood dial has a 7 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and painted spandrels, dial signed Forestville Manufacturing Co. Bristol, Ct. U.S.A. 8 Day, weight driven movement has fancy pierced brass plates – signed Forestville Mfg. Co. Bristol, Ct. U.S.A. – count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, iron weights and wood pulleys (one replaced pulley). Mahogany case has turned half columns over serpentine corbels, the door with original clear glass over reverse painted table and lower door with reverse painted glass; paper label for Forestville Mfg. Co. in good condition, original glasses have some paint flaking, no inpainting. 32 in. high x 20 in. wide.
