Oak Elliot Grandfather Clock w/ Piano Strike. Large brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase with silvered arch, sub dials for Chime/Silent, Westminster/Eight Bells & switch for Whittington/Westminster chimes, fancy pierced gilt brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels with pierced hands; brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, quality brass weights, pulleys and pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick. The backboard of the clock is mounted with ElliotÂs patented piano soundboard with 9 sets of string and hammers striking Whittington & Westminster; back plate of the movement is signed J.J. Elliot, London. In an oak case with carved lions head on the arched crest, filigree carving and side carvings with lions heads and hanging fruit; carved filigree and lions heads on the body and base with beveled door glass arched at the top. In very good condition and old overcoated finish. 99 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 13.5 in. deep.

Large brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase with silvered arch, sub dials for Chime/Silent & Westminster/Eight Bells, fancy gilt brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels signed ÂElliot, LondonÂ; pierced hands and brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, quality brass weights, pulleys and pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick and 9 silvered tubes signed ÂHarris & HarringtonÂ, movement is signed on the back plate ÂJ.J. Elliot, London & ÂH & HÂ, with matching number on the seat board 5097. In an excellent mahogany case with broken arched pediment crest having turned finials (center finial has a broken tip), filigree carving and rosettes with long carved triple columns on the bonnet corners; the case has oval shaped beveled glass on the front door and beveled glasses on the sides with turned corner columns, carved shell on the front panels and stands on carved claw feet. Case is in very good condition, has an enhanced oroginal finish. 104 in. high x 29 in. wide x 19 in. deep.

Monumental Mahogany 9 Tube Grandfather Clock. Quality signed Elliot, London movement has brass dial with fancy gilt pierced filigree in the center and spandrels, has a 12 in. silvered dial with applied brass Arabic hour numbers, fancy blued pierced hands, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase, Silent-Chime and Whittington-Westminster dials. Quality brass, weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, stamped on the back H&H in a rectangle (Harris & Harrington) and stamped J.J. Elliot, London in an oval, numbered 5449; large brass cylinder attached to the movement plays Westminster and Whittington on 9 silvered tubes signed, Harris & Harrington, 3 quality brass weights and pulleys, quality brass pendulum bob with steel stick. The massive mahogany case has fluted turned columns on the bonnet with a large carved crest with leaf scrolls and flame finial centered over a lions head; the body has more turned columns over corbelled corners and fancy carvings. In very good condition and very good running condition. 104 in. high x 30 in. wide x 22 in. deep
