THIS LISTING IS FOR A NICE VINTAGE BOSTON AMERICAN CHELSEA CLOCK CO. SHIP’S BELL CLOCK. THIS NICE CLOCK IS HOUSED IN A BRASS CASE WITH GLASS COVER TO PROTECT THE WORKING MECHANISM. MEASURES 3 1/2″ HIGH, 5 3/8″ IN DIAMETER ON TOP WITH THE GLASS COVER BEING 4″ IN DIAMETER. THE BASE IS SLIGHTLY LARGER AT 5 3/4″ IN DIAMETER AND STAMPED “5854”. WEIGHS 5.0 POUNDS. SILVER FINISHED OPEN FACE WITH “SPADE” STYLE HANDS, MARKED “BOSTON”. THE WORKS APPEAR TO BE IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE BRASS HOUSING IS IN GOOD CONDITION ALTHOUGH THERE IS SOME WEAR ON THE BACK (SEE PHOTOS), NO OTHER NOTED DAMAGE OR FLAWS.
