Single Fusee Brass Skeleton Clock w/ Dome. 6 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, black hands, fancy pierced brass plates, single fusee 8 day spring driven movement with anchor escapement, brass covered pendulum bob with brass pendulum stick and passing hour drop hammer strike with a brass bell at the top and halberd strike hammer. In running condition, has a fusee rope, on an ebonized wood base, replaced glass dome. 19.5 in. high x 11.75 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.

Pierced Brass Fusee Skeleton Clock w/ Dome. Movement has fancy Gothic pierced brass plates, 6 in. pierced brass and engraved dial with black Roman hour numerals, pierced black hands, spring driven single fusee w/ chain, brass pendulum and passing hour drop hammer strike w/ halberd shaped hammer. On a rosewood base with inlaid filigree on the front and glass dome top, has an overcoated finish; dome is in good condition, movement is running, strike mechanism is not functioning. 24.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

A good mid 19th century brass skeleton clock. Attributed to Edwards of Stourbridge, circa 1850, having a 4.75″ silvered twelve-lobed Roman dial with minute dots, framing a six-pillar chain-driven twin-fusee movement with wheels of six crossings, the frame of scrolled ‘Christmas Tree’ design with knopped and ringed pillars, 11″, (28cm) high, on a stepped white marble base beneath glass dome, 15.5″, (39.5cm) high overall. For a similar example by this firm, see F. B Royer-Collard, ‘Skeleton Clocks’ (NAG 1969), p.16.

Brass Great Wheel Fusee Skeleton Clock. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, pierced spade hands and brass bezel; 8 day brass fusee spring driven skeletonized French style movement with silk thread suspension, great wheel, good fusee chain, eagle at the top of the dial and pr. winged griffins below, movement is in good running condition on a rosewood base with glass dome top. Dome is repaired. 15 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Brass Fusee Skeleton Clock. 5 in. silvered chapter ring with black painted Roman hour numerals and pierced black hands; 8 day single fusee skeletonized movement has a recoil escapement with fancy scrolling pierced brass plates, an hour drop hammer strike with halberd shaped strike hammer, brass bell and brass pendulum. On an ebonized wood platform base with turned feet under a glass dome. In running condition with no breaks or repairs to the dome or case. 19 in. high x 11 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
