Brass Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.5″ porcelain dial signed “J’n. F’ois. Bautte & Co., a Geneve” with black Roman hour numerals, blued trefoil hands and sub alarm dial; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “J.F. Bautte & Cie”, has a platform lever escapement, grand sonnerie quarter hour repeating strike on 2 bells and sub alarm mechanism. In a fancy filigree engraved gilt brass case with hinged handle and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Good overall condition, running and striking. 5.75″ high x 4″ wide x 3.25″ deep. Weight: 5.25 lbs.

An oval brass case w/ curved sides and beveled glasses, escapement exposed through the top, and alarm/repeater button. Black spade hour hand, enameled dial w/ black roman numerals and minute markers on the chapter ring and sub-dial below for the alarm; signed on the dial and movement “J.E. Caldwell”. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever platform escapement, strikes on a single coiled gong. Switch on the bottom of the case for silent, hour and quarter hour strike. All appears to be running, strikes properly and balance has good brisk motion; some tarnish to the case.

Polished brass dial has a 2.25 in. porcelain chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and black hands (one repaired), signed in the center Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia, below is the sub alarm dial. Quality brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement with good balance wheel, in good running condition; 2 coiled brass gongs for quarter hour strike and a third strike hammer for the alarm, repeater button on the top of the case and lever on the bottom for silent & strike. clock is in good running condition. 7.25 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 4 in. deep

In a brass case with hinged handle on top, has fluted brass corner columns with capitals, applied brass filigree and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Running and striking, alarm functions, overall nice condition. 6.75″ high x 4.25″ wide x 3.75″ deep. Weight: 5.5 lbs.

In a gilt brass case with fluted corner columns, arched beveled front glass, beveled glass on the sides and top, viewing the escapement, hinged handle and German inscriptions on back for speed regulator and alarm wind. In a tortoise shell case with gilt washed sterling silver mounts, handle and ball feet; hinges are stamped with ÂH.A. & Co.Â, London and sterling hallmarks.
