An Atkins Clock Company "Drop Octagon" model wall clock. 8-day time only movement with a painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Rosewood case with octagon top and applied "ripple" molding, circular wood dial door, rectangular lower door with reverse painted glass. Interior paper label 70% intact. Older refinishing with some veneer loss, minor dial flaking, running when cataloged. 24 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $200-300

Atkins Drop Octagon Rosewood Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement has brass covered pendulum bob and steel rod. In a rosewood drop octagon wall hanging case in original finish with brass door bezel and original glass, lower reverse painted tablet with black background having minor flaking and gilt design, in good condition and original finish. Signed with original paper label on the back of the case for Atkins Clock Company, Bristol, Conn. 25 in. high x 17 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
