Ansonia “Virginia” Mantle Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong strike and fancy 5 1/2″ dial with porcelain Roman numerals and visible escapement. Black enameled with high relief white metal scenes. With an ebonized white metal figure. The figure is new.
(The springs wind ok, but it will run only for about 10 seconds before stopping. The black portions of the case have been redone. The figure on top is new.)

Silvered side plaques depicting French courtyard scenes, embossed dial with open escapement and porcelain Roman numeral plaques. Ansonia time and strike movement. Overall measures 12 1/4″ h. x 20 1/2″ x 7 3/4″.

Ansonia “Virginia” Metal Case Clock w/Statue: With an unmarked 8 day T&S with 1/2 hour gong strike movement; an extra fancy metal dial with figural cherubs, cartouche Arabic numerals and visible escapement; the Ansonia “Opera” statue and is marked on the back.
Not tested.
(Even though there is no pendulum or key, the clock gongs. The black wood on the base has been repainted or touched up.)
