(The strike hammers look repaired and does not hit the gong, although it tires to at the proper time. The dial has a short hairline under the 2. One leg on Don Juan is cracked above the ankle.)

Double sunk dial, exposed escapement, time and strike movement, porcelain enamel dial, key present, measures 21 x 25.5 x 9 inches. ?We are happy to offer in-house shipping for all but very large or very fragile items. A Late 19th Century Ansonia “Don Caesar and Don Juan” Figural Mantle Clock. Eight day time and strike movement with open escapement, and enameled Porcelain dial. Cast metal case and Double figures of Don Caesar and Don Juan, both shown with a drawn sword, all resting atop an Ebonized iron base. Wear to the metal, minor discoloration in a few areas on the face, Don Caesar’s sword is slightly misshapen, losses to the ebonized base. 25 1/2″ wide x 20 1/2″ high. ESTIMATE $600-800
