Ansonia “Combatants” Double Statue Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong strike and a 5 1/2″ dial with visible escapement. It has a silver finish.

(The strike has a “tinny” sound. The urn shape on the case’s top has a couple of small pieces reattached. No key.)

A good double statue with facing warriors, T/S, double-sunk enamel dial with damage and restoration, measures 21 x 23 x 8.75 inches.

Condition

Good but with missing figural elements, extensive damage and restoration to the dial.

Measures 16.5 x 18.5 x 6.75 inches.

Condition

As-is with condition issues. Repair at the right ankle of the left figure with the shield, losses, oxidation, the effects of age, swords absent. the running condition is unknown.

Double statue mantle clock circa 1894, double sunk enamel dial with exposed escapement, 20.75 inches high, tima and strike movement signed Ansonia. One statue has been partially refinished, otherwise very good with no damage or repairs noting a chip and line to the dial. No pendulum bob.
