Welch Round Top Calendar No. 4 Clock

A late 19th century Welch, Spring & Co. "Round Head Regulator No. 4" model double dial wall clock. 8-day time only two weight movement with lower "B. B. Lewis" calendar mechanism, painted metal upper dial with Roman numerals and lower papered calendar dial. Rosewood case with round, molded upper door, square lower door and molded drop. Nicely refinished with some repairs to veneer, flaking on upper dial, re-papered lower dial, running when cataloged. 35" high. ESTIMATE $600-800

(No weights, not tested. The dials both show some wear. 2 screws have been added to the front below the dial. There is some veneer damage.)

(Both dials look new, pendulum is broken and one weight string is disconnected.)
