Welch “Damrosch’ Double Dial Gales Patent Calendar Wall Clock. 8 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals, pierced hands, 8 in. lower calendar dial with 31 date outer ring and sub-dials for day and month, Gale’s Patented perpetual lower calendar mechanism in good working condition; brass spring driven 8 day time only movement is signed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., long drop pendulum has an ebonized wood stick and brass covered bob which is visible below the calendar mechanism. In a walnut case with carved crest, pierced carved corbels and skirt in the base; good original finish, replaced time dial, door has replaced old glass. 41 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
