Welch Olympia Kitchen Clock
Description
Embossed case with Admiral Dewey? And the ship Olympia with victory in Manila Bay, Olympia is front and center in the original tablet in the door and stars are all around the door sides. Oak case with old refinished surface, anchors and stars on the base of the clock, one hand has been replaced on the original face that could be easily replaced again, cannons and flags are on both sides of the Admiral in the center of the crest, 24 1/2″ tall by 15 1/2″ wide. Circa 1900. Welch was one of the premier makers and this seems to be in good condition.
