Waterbury No. 53 Mahogany Wall Regulator. Original 12″ painted metal dial signed “Waterbury Clock Co.” has black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds, fancy pierced decorated hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day double weight driven time only movement signed “Waterbury Clock Co.” has pyramidal plates, Graham deadbeat escapement, iron bracket, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and brass covered side weights. In a mahogany wall hanging case with spindled crest having beaded trim, round carved center with spherical mounts and corner finials, spindled lower bracket with teardrop finials and original reverse gold leaf and black painted “Regulator” door glass. Case in good overall refinished condition, original label in the bottom of the case, replaced weights. 52″ high x 19.75″ wide x 8.75″ deep. Weight: 35.25 lbs.
