A paper label affixed to the rear upper quarter has minor edge tears and is marked “Kingston Eight-Day Hanging Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.” Movement signed, “Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ontario”. 4.25″ x 16″ x 32.5″. Dark oak case in original finish. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

4.25″ x 15.75″ x 33″. Square oak clock face with brass numerals, pendulum and hands. Numbers, pendulum and hands are polished brass. The case has cracked and separated on the right side.

Full label affixed to the upper quarter back marked “Kingston Eight Day Hanging Clock Made by The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada.” 4.25″ x 15.75″ x 33″. Square oak clock face with brass numerals, pendulum and hands. Numbers and hands show slight oxidation. The pendulum shaft shows a repair at the upper quarter at the back of the pendulum.

Signed E. Howard Marble Dial Wall Clock. Marble front clock has a square form with concave rounded corners, 22 in. painted dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has large black Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers, painted black pierced trefoil hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement number 11 1/2, signed ÂE. Howard & Co. BostonÂ, has a painted black no 11 1/2 side weight with 3 pulleys, wood pendulum, stick with brass covered bob. In good overall condition, no break, chips or repairs to the dial, pendulum stick is broken at the top. Overall dimensions are 26 in. high x 26 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Signed A. Howard Wall Regulator. 14 in. repainted iron dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial and pierced spade hands; brass weight driven 8 day time only movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, signed on the front plate ÂA. Howard, BostonÂ, has flat iron side weight with pulley mounted to the right on the top of the seat board, round wood pendulum rod and painted tin covered weight. In walnut case similar to the ÂE. Howard No. 13 model wall regulator with door bezel hinged at the top, arched lower door with glass panel, mirrored back and brass beat indicator at the bottom; Case measures 56 in. high x 19.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep; plinth measures 22 in. high x 25 in. wide x 10 in. deep. – Albert Howard, a cousin of Edward Howard, went into partnership in Dec. 1858 as ÂE. Howard & CompanyÂ; in March of 1861 they formed a joint stock company called the ÂHoward Clock & Watch Company where Albert Howard was chosen as President and Edward as Superintendent & Treasurer. The factory was closed in May of 1863 and in October of the same year, Edward was able to reform the company with himself as President.
