Waterbury no. 42 calendar clock with a walnut case retaining the original finish, original painted dials with crazing, original time hands, brass calendar hand may be a replacement, original Waterbury indexing pendulum works as it should, running, calendar advances when hands moved, a very clean example. 24 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

A 19th century Waterbury "No. 44" model calendar shelf clock. 8-day time, strike and alarm movement with painted metal dials, Roman numerals on the time dial and Arabic on the calendar dial. Walnut case with incised carving and shaped crest over a single long door with reverse painted glass on a molded base. Paper labels 70% intact. Older refinishing with minor wear, craquelure and minor losses to dials, rollers quite dark, running when cataloged. 24" high. ESTIMATE $300-400

Waterbury Calendar # 42 8 Day Clock in a walnut case with a half hour strike and gong, the finish is original. Dial carries an 1889 patent date and the label on the back is intact. Clock is working at this time.
