Bronze Ships Wheel Nautical Desk Clock. 2 tone bronze case with dark brown patina and gilt finish, in the form of a ships helm with anchor and compass; on a green marble platform with bronze base. 4.5 in. dia. silvered metal dial with black hour numbers, spade hands and large magnifying glass ball front crystal; brass spring driven 1 day time only movement has a pin pallet lever escapement and is running. 14 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 12.5 lbs.

A nice desk clock, about 5″ in height, made by the Chelsea Clock Company, with a silver dialed timepiece in the form of a ships wheel mounted on a gimbaled frame and base. The antiqued finished brass case is engraved “H. S. Prentice 1948”.

In a brass shipÂs wheel style case on an hinged frame with mahogany base, 2 tone gilt and brown finish, in good condition. Engraving presented to ÂFrankland W.L. Miles Jr., President, Mass. Maritime Acadamy, Alumni Association, 1964-1967Â. Measures 5 in. high.
