In a mahogany beehive shaped case with inlay on the crest and brass door with beveled glass; in good working condition, original finish, minor veneer losses on the top front corner. 15 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

Crosby, New York Burl Mahogany Beehive Clock, Circa 1852, 5″ original painted dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, an eye-catching light burled case front with a finely detailed original tablet adding to the classically aged painted dial, the reverse of this dial has an apprentice practice dial, preserved to near perfection with only minor veneer loss to bottom edge. Height 19″.
