Waltham Presentation Banjo Clock. 5 in. painted metal dial with black Arabic numbers, 1 in. sub-seconds dial, original blued hands, signed Waltham; brass spring driven movement is signed Waltham Watch Co. USA, has lever escapement. Mahogany case has typical banjo form with fluted tapering bracket, teardrop finial, turned presentation spheres, brass eagle finial, brass bezel and pierced brass side arms; reverse painted throat glass with George Washington, reverse painted Mt. Vernon lower door glass. Movement is wound tight, balance is not swinging, case is original finish and good condition, glasses are original and in very good condition with no losses or inpainting. 30 in. high

A 42″ presentation style weight driven banjo timepiece by the Waltham Clock Company with reverse painted glasses commemorating George Washington and Mt. Vernon. Case of mahogany with original finish has fading.

Original 3.25 in. painted metal dial signed Waltham has black hour numbers and hands; spring driven time only movement has a lever escapement with long stem wind in the body of the case and is signed Waltham Watch Co., 8 day. In a mahogany presentation banjo Willard style case having pierced brass side arms, bezel, eagle finial and spherical mounts around the bracket; original reverse painted throat glass and tablet with George Washington and Mt. Vernon estate scene, some minor flaking to the paint, movement is not running. 21 in. high.

Mahogany case has a typical banjo form, fluted tapering bracket with teardrop acorn finial and turned presentation spheres, brass eagle finial on top, brass bezel w/ convex glass and pierced brass side arms; reverse painted throat glass with gilt filigree & George Washington portrait over crossed rifles and reverse painted lower tablet with scenic view of Mount Vernon.
