Waltham Gimballed Ships Clock. The 2 1/2 in. diameter dial has Arabic hour numerals, seconds dial and wind indicator; signed “Waltham Watch Co.” over a circular motif that reads “8 Days.” The clock is set in a brass gimbal frame, which is supported by a case having two push button release lids for above and below the glass cover; the smaller case rests in a carrying case which has a hinged lid and strap with buckle. Serial #21491450. Dimensions: Small box: 5 in. high x 5 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Total dimensions: 7 1/4 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7 1/4 in. deep. Weight: 6.95 lbs.

Made to go in old cars, this Waltham 8 day clock has angled corners and is likely 1920s or 30s era, engraved on the back is probably the owners name of W. T. White/St. Paul. Center winding stem in the base, 3″ tall including the winding stem and 2 1/2″ wide. Mr. White was a very prominent citizen of St. Paul in the early 20th Century.
