Description: Up for auction is a very cool vintage Seth Thomas Sonora Chime mantel clock. The clock does not run reliably, only ticking for a few seconds before stopping. The chime is still functional, having different bells to make up the notes of the classic Westminster Quarters chime. The clock has four points of winding: two mainspring winding holes, one speed adjustment hole, and one hole to wind the chime. The chime hole post is slightly off-center, making it difficult to reach with the included key. We recommend having this clock serviced after purchase at the buyers expense, especially by an experienced clockmaker.

The face appears to be metal with some discoloration due to age and is marked Seth Thomas USA. This clock has its pendulum and a key. The movement is marked “Made in USA ST # 89”. The clock measures approximately 9.5”T x 19.75”W x 6.25”D.
