DESCRIPTION: Wooden vernis Martin clock featuring hand-painted courting lovers on the front, bronze embellishments, a bronze rose finial, and hand-painted floral and bird motifs. Marked on movement: "Médaille D'Argent 1855 Vincenti", "4405", and "41". Marked on underside. Pendulum and key included.

Th early 20th century Louis XV style bracket clock with Vernis Martin type hand painted decoration, the gilded bronze mounts on wood case of undulating form houses a brass plate time-and-strike movement with Vincenti signature medallion; the porcelain enamel dial with embossed panels divided by fine black lines in circular arrangement displays a Roman numeral for every hour along with a scale of 5 minute divisions, displayed n the original matching stand with bronze mounts and hand painted festoons.
Clock measures 30 x 13 x 6 inches. Measures 33.5 inches with the base.

An 18th century ormolu-mounted Vernis Martin Wall Clock with Original Bracket
The waisted case decorated with flowers surmounted by an elaborate Rococo mount with flowing scrollwork and flower stems, with glazed pendulum aperture, on raised scroll feet, the 8.75 inch circular Arabic and Roman white enamel dial with gilt fancy hands, the signed rectangular twin train movement signed for Pierre Le Roy Hger. du Roy, with outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell mounted on top of the case. Ticking with the ability to strike, the strike hammer present but currently detached. Sold with silk suspension pendulum, and winding key. 72cms (28ins) high with bracket 104cms high (6)

French Portico Wood & Bronze Dore Clock: 8 day time with half hour bell strike movement, unmarked. The 4″ silvered dial has a cast bezel with shell designs. The large pendulum has floral and scroll designs. The case is ebonized wood with bronze dore.
(The case has some veneer damage and loss on the lower right side and the wood finish is worn on some edges. The time of strike is reversed.)

In an ebonized wood case with gilt bronze decorations, including a flame coming out of the top. The 2 figureheads that adorn the sides are also depicted in the center of the dial.
The clock is running and striking the half hour at this time.
