Baird Advertising Wall Clock, Vanner & Prest’s: With a TO movement; an unmarked metal dial; and in a case that reads “Vanner & Prest’s Molliscorium Compo Embrocation V P Trade Mark”. The pendulum is with the clock.

Not tested.

(Although the clock has some paint chipping and shows wear, the advertising is still very readable. There is no key with the clock.)

Baird Spanish Blacking Advertising Clock. Paper dial has a 9 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, black spade hands, brass bezel and signed Edw. P. Baird & Co. Montreal; brass time only spring driven movement signed Made by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for Edw. P. Baird, New York & Montreal, has steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a miniature Baird figure 8 style case with paper mache advertising with deep cut gilt lettering and design for Spanish Blacking – Is The Very Best, original red finish in good condition, has crack in original lower door glass, c. 1888. 27.5 in. long x 16 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.

Baird Advertising Clock. 12 in. Paper dial with black Roman hour numerals, signed Baird Clock Co. Plattsburgh, NY, black spade hands (tarnished); has a brass time only spring driven movement with long pendulum stick and brass covered bob. Rustic figure eight style case with carved silver painted lettering around the door and lower glass which reads, Vanner & Prests Molliscorium – Compo Embrocation – V.P. Trade Mark. Original finish, dial has some wear, crack in the door and age cracks on the board behind the dial.
