fourth quarter 19th century, the hood with serpentine sides and a floral-carved crest, with a painted and parcel-gilt dial, the mid-door with a circular window, resting on a bombe base with central carved shell and paw feet, time and strike movement.

A 20th century giltwood cartel style wall clock. Having a 6.5″ (16.5cm) convex cream dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes named to ‘Emil N Skalin, Stockholm’, the Junghans movement striking on a bell with skeletonised back plate and four spoke wheelwork, the case with flowers, leaves and ribbon to surmount over further similar motifs flanking convex glazed bezel and beaded surround on a cushion base with acorn terminal. 20.5″ (52cm) high.
