Unusual Lg. Gilt Carved 30 Day Mirror Clock. Large wall hanging case with gilt carved frame, seashell and pierced filigree crest and mirror with 14 in. aperture exposing the dial. 12.5 in. dial painted on a 20.25 in. dia. steel plate has black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced hands and blued sweep seconds hand. Brass 30 day double weight driven time only movement with deadbeat escapement, has brass pulleys, iron weights and brass covered pendulum bob hanging from an ebonized wood stick; movement is mounted on an iron back plate inset into the backboard of the clock case. Mirror is in good overall condition having very minor silvering loss, crest has repair, pendulum stick is replaced and refinished, dial is an old replacement and repainted, seconds hand is replaced. 91 in. high x 30 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

French Rare and Unusual Large Gilt Bronze Skeleton Clock, Circa 1840, 4 1/2″ enamel dial, 30-day, heavy brass double fusee movement, very unusual large skeleton clock, in English style, large gilt bronze case, columns that support the movement have engraved decorative elements, a very similar clock with the signature of C. Detouche a Paris, who was a well-known instructional clock maker in France, is pictured in the book “Skeleton Clocks” by F.B. Royer-Collard, pages 85-86, excellent condition overall, beat plate indicator replacement, dome and base probably not original to this clock. Height 21″ (including dome).

20th Century Gilt Carved Cartel Clock. Beautiful gilt carved Rococo filigree cartel style wall hanging case signed on the back with initials ÂL.J.Â and dated 1944. Has a 7 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside and fancy gilt pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement, unsigned, has an hour strike on a brass bell and a brass pendulum. In good overall condition, case has some flaking to the gilt. 28.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
