Unusual EN Welch Wrought Iron Clock: With an 8 day T&S movement and hand painted numerals on the dial. This clock is unusual in that as the clock is wound a lower strap raises and then, as the clock runs, the strap goes down. There is a pendulum with the clock.

Style of Edgar Brandt hump top wrought iron clock case with applied filigree and poppy flowers on an onyx base; with a matching pair of side pieces measuring 9 in. high. Has a 4 in. porcelain dial marked ÂFranceÂ, has black hour numbers, missing original movement, has a battery operated movement. 11.25 in. high x 15.75 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep. Weight: 27.5 lbs.

Wonderful Wrought Iron Turret Clock. This early tower clock movement has wrought iron strap plates with keyed through tenon construction, curling wrought finials highlighting the corners, has a large recoil escapement and hour count wheel strike mechanism; large 2 weight driven clock with turned wood barrels, signed on the top front plate ÂMartin Kratohwil, Zezut, 1837Â thought the clock appears to be earlier possibly 17th century. Missing pendulum & weights, missing a few keys which hold the gear posts into place, one spoke on the escape wheel is repaired and the clock has an old lacquered overcoat which was applied for preservation. This is a rare and unusual clock which is a perfect complement for the for the right adaptation. 32 in. high x 33 in. wide x 22 in. deep.

Wrought Iron Double Dial Mantle Clock. Fancy gothic style wrought iron case with pierced, scrolling and twisting designs, mounted rosettes and spherical bronze balls, spiral wrapped finial and crest arch, has a beautiful black original finish with some brown highlights on the bronze pieces. 5.5 in. inset porcelain dial signed ÂJ.W. Benson, Bond St., London with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets, brass door bezel with beveled crystal; round French brass spring driven movement signed with A.B. and 5 point star trademark for Achille Brocot, has an half hour strike on a coiled gong. Lower brass perpetual calendar mechanism signed with Achille Brocot trademark, has a 4 in. porcelain dial with inset moon phase, Mean Time at Noon indicator and sub dial for days, months & 31 dates. Case is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs, missing pendulum, clock runs, strikes, the calendar is in good working condition with a good dial, time dial has hairlines in the outer ring and is missing the brass collars around the arbor holes. 25.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Early 16th Century Wrought Iron Tower Clock. Clock has a wrought iron bird cage frame with keyed through tenon construction, fancy scrolled corbels and spire points at the peak of the corner posts; weight driven movement has a verge escapement with foliot balance at the top with crown wheel, the 3 train movement has an quarter hour strike with governor fly wheel assembly on the front and back and hour count wheel strike. Movement does not have hands, weights or pulleys and is missing 2 tenon wedges. Movement measures 32 in. high x 27 in. wide x 32 in. deep. On a rough cut 4×4 wood stand with pegged construction measuring 25 in. high x 27 in. wide x 25 in. deep.

The black enamel iron case made to look like slate with inlaid red marble accents. Actually the marble areas are faux painted iron as the rest of the case is black enamel iron with what appear as incised lines highlighted in gold. Doube sunk porcelain enamel dial with open escapement. 11.5 x 15 x 7.5 inches overall. Very good condition noting minor tiny flakes to the marbling on top, two shallow chips to the door glass, winds and chimes, no pendulum.
