A 19″ silver and gold plated two pillar mantel clock decorated all over with vines, etc. and having a cylindrical music box mounted inside the wood base. The clock is fit with a glass shade or cover, although now with a repaired break.

Gl;ass cover has repaired break. Unless otherwise stated the condition of the mechanisms of these clocks is good, but that does not mean they run or do not need repairs. There is no guarantee of either the mechanical performance of clocks nor the completeness and originality of their parts and components. In most cases we have not removed the dials from these clocks, and have not checked inside for manufacturers or makers names for attribution.

Rare Austrian Mantel Clock. Circa 1800. Three spring going barrels. Grande Sonnerie striking 8 day clock with calendar with mahagony and ebonized with gilded brass mounts. Alabaster columns with an engraved brass and porcelain dial. Ht. 23″ W 15″. The Ferd Kirshberger Collection, VA.

Missing dust cover. Chips and hairline cracks to chapter ring.
