German Hanns Geiel, Wien Serpentine Case Single Weight Vienna Regulator Timepiece, Circa 1865, 7″ enamel dial signed Hanns Geiel, Wien, 8-day, brass timepiece movement, lovely Vienna regulator in a serpentine case, movement is mounted with wood brackets, a well made early clock in a very desirable style case, movement in excellent condition, case with minor insect damage, a good finisher could easily make this clock more beautiful. Height 44″.

Transitional Inlaid Vienna Regulator: the 6 1/2″ porcelain dial is signed “Franz Mayer in Wein”. Circa 3rd quarter of the 19th century. Time only, driven by a single weight. The mahogany case is inlaid with brass, pewter and shell like substance on the interior and exterior. The movement runs for 45 days.
The clock is 52 1/2″ long and will run if the hands are properly seated.
(The pin, which is very small broke off and we were not able to remove it or replace it. There are no major problems with this clock.)
