Green Onyx French Mantle Clock. 4 in. Convex, gilt brass dial with black Arabic numbers, brass bezel, beveled door glass and fancy black hands, dial signed Geo. H. Griffen, Portland, ME. Typical, round, French brass, 8 day, spring driven movement signed  S. Marti, has pin pallet escapement and strikes on a coiled gong. In a green onyx case, has an arched crest with lions head mount, turned side columns with scrolled carvings below. In good overall condition. 11 in. high x 13.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
