The floral decorated porcelain front panel has a 2.5″ dial signed “Tiffany & Co., New York” has black Roman hour numerals and blued hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement with quarter hour repeating mechanism striking on 2 coiled gongs. Brass case has a turned hinged handle with faux bamboo turned brass corner columns, corner finials, hand painted porcelain side panels with full standing portraits of women and beveled glass on the front, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Chip on front glass, otherwise in good overall condition, running and striking. 6.5″ high x 4.5″ wide x 4″ deep. Weight: 5.5 lbs.

In a brass case with hinged handle on top, has fluted brass corner columns with capitals, applied brass filigree and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. In a tortoise shell case with gilt washed sterling silver mounts, handle and ball feet; hinges are stamped with ÂH.A. & Co.Â, London and sterling hallmarks. Black spade hour hand, enameled dial with black roman numerals and minute markers on the chapter ring and sub-dial below for the alarm; signed on the dial and movement “J.E. Caldwell”. Quality brass movement with silvered lever platform escapement, strikes on a single coiled gong. Switch on the bottom of the case for silent, hour and quarter hour strike. All appears to be running, strikes properly and balance has good brisk motion; 6″ high x 5″ wide x 4″ deep. Weight: 4.75 lbs.
