Tiffany & Co. Gilt Bronze Cartel Clock. 6 in. porcelain dial signed “Tiffany & Co.”, has blue Roman hour numerals with black 5 minute numbers and gilt pierced hands; round brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “L. Boname”, has an half hour strike on a bell. In a gilt bronze case with 2 seated figural musical putti at the top, hanging garland and fancy pierced rococo filigree; stamped on the back door “Tiffany & Co.”. Case has stress cracks along the base of the crest, clock is in overall good condition. 25 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Bronze Wall Hanging Cartel Clock. 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numbers with winged putti painted in the center, brass door bezel with convex glass; typical round brass 8 day spring driven French movement with half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a steel bell, brass pendulum and signed A.D. Mougin. Gilt bronze case is decorated with pierced filigree design and a cherub holding a conch shell at the top. Door glass has a hairline. 17 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

A 19th century cast gilt bronze cartel clock. Having a 4.5″ convex dial with blue Roman hours and black Arabic minutes, the two-train bell-striking movement with Samuel Marti exhibition stamp, numbered 451 and stamped H & F Paris, outside countwheel striking, the case with chased foliate scrollwork and flowerhead decoration framing a lattice grille beneath the convex-glazed dial, 18.5″, (47cm) high.

Condition

Dial – several haircracks, at 5, 10, 20, 35, 40 and 50. Movement – appears sound. Case – surmount is separately cast. Back is sheet brass with sheet door and crude catch – these may be later. Overall gilt finish is good. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any clocks sold.

20th Century Gilt Carved Cartel Clock. Beautiful gilt carved Rococo filigree cartel style wall hanging case signed on the back with initials “L.J.” and dated 1944. Has a 7 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside and fancy gilt pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement, unsigned, has an hour strike on a brass bell and a brass pendulum. In good overall condition, case has some flaking to the gilt. 28.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

In a gilt brass case with allover pierced filigree design, has a repair to the finial on the rear plate. 23.75 in. high x 9 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
