The mahogany case has an arched crest with pierced carved seashell, bell flower and ribbon design, turned finials, leaf carving and spiral turned columns with beveled glass on the bonnet door; the body of the case has long turned fluted columns with leaf carving, mullioned beveled glasses on the door, lions head escutcheon and inset panel on the base with filigree, bellflower and ribbon carving all standing on large claw feet. Has an enhanced original finish; silvered presentation plaque behind the door is addressed to ÂDaniel Boone, St. Louis, MO, by the New York Life Insurance Company, August 1, 1895Â. 99 in. high x 23 in. wide x 15 in. deep.

In an excellent mahogany case with broken arched pediment crest having turned finials (center finial has a broken tip), filigree carving and rosettes with long carved triple columns on the bonnet corners; the case has oval shaped beveled glass on the front door and beveled glasses on the sides with turned corner columns, carved shell on the front panels and stands on carved claw feet. Case is in very good condition, has an enhanced oroginal finish. 104 in. high x 29 in. wide x 19 in. deep.
