Three-Piece French Belle Epoque Gilt-Bronze and Marble Clock Set
fourth quarter 19th century, signed by Mason Marquis Languereau, in the Louis XVI taste, the clock with a gilt-bronze urn-form finial, the signed dial beneath a swag of laurel leaves tied in a bowknot, the marble base decorated with gilt-bronze panels with mounts of woven ivy and laurel, raised on molded toupie feet, h. 17-1/4", w. 11-1/4", d. 6-1/2"; together with a pair of six-light candelabra with scroll-molded candle cups on matching arms, supported by bronze kneeling putti, resting on column-form marble bases decorated with swags of gilt-bronze grape leaves, h. 22-1/4", dia. 10-1/4".
