Thos. Gammage & Son Triple Fusee Bracket Clock. Large silvered tombstone shaped dial is signed “Thos. Gammage & Son, from James McCabes, St. Michaels Alley Cornhill” & “London, 3902”, measures 13.25 in. high x 8.5 in. wide, has an 8 in. chapter ring with black incised Roman hour numerals, sub dial at the top with Silent & Strike indicator and has a beveled silvered bezel. Quality brass 8 day triple fusee movement signed “Thos. Gammage & Son, London, 3902”; on the quarter hour strikes Westminster on 4 coiled gongs and the hour on a fifth gong, has a quality brass pendulum. In an oak case with large cast gilt bronze filigree finials on the corners and arched top, turned corner columns with capitols over trefoil carvings and pierced carved inset side panels. Clock is in very good condition with an enhanced original finish, good fusee springs & chains, clock runs and strikes. 31 in. high x 20 in. wide x 10 in. deep.
