Measures approx. 100″h. It has an ornately inlaid cherry case, three brass finials, a maple inlaid broken arch pediment and a sun and moon dial with eagle and shield. Dial has some touch ups. It has a floral painted face with a faded owner’s name on it. It is signed Richard Lester on the left side of the scat board. Feet have been replaced. Clock has original weights and pendulum. Richard Lesyter made clocks in York, Pa from 1770 to 1816.

Canadian. 1930s. Walnut veneer. The Chester model was one of the last produced by the company. The Chester was found with variations to the dial. This features a two tone dial and chromed bezel and art deco handset. Paper inside the access door. Movement is stamped. Original finish. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. From the Skip Kerr Collection. 9.5"H X 13.25"W X 6"D.

Seth Thomas City Clock Â Chester. 5 in. paper dial with black Arabic hour numbers, black pierced diamond hands, brass bezel and domical door glass; 8 day spring driven movement No. 3 5/8, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A. Â has pierced brass plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, and coiled gong and round iron pendulum bob with letter S. Oak case with carved crest and finial, turned half columns and carvings on the case front with rosette below the door, paper label on the back. This is an “A-List” clock. 16.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Rare. The “Chester” was among the latest models made by Pequegnat and features the Art Deco dial assembly with chrome hands. The case features a book-matched walnut veneer front. 6″ x 13.5″ x 9.75″. The metal dial has a faux wood grain face accentuated with painted numbers, nickel hands and bezel. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
