Scroll top case with three wooden finials, turned columns, hand painted dial with flowers in corners, reverse plainted tablet, label “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold in Plymouth, Connecticut”. 30 hour wooden works, weight driven, key and pendulum, measures approx. 29″ tall x 17″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.

Beautiful lower glass with gold gilt fruit bowl, nice label. Measures approx. 34″ tall x 18″ wide x 5 1/2″ deep.

Mahogany case with molded top, single door with clear upper and mirrored lower glasses, flanked by turned columns with carved capitols. Original finish with wear and minor damage. 35 1/2″ high.

Spencer Wooster & Co Triple Decker Clock c.1840. 9.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial with gilt spandrels and center embellishment, blued spade hands; brass, weight driven movement has rack & snail strike mechanism with coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, brass pulleys and large iron weights. In a mahogany case with splayed cornice top, turned double finials on each side, scenic reverse painted tablet in the door and lower reverse painted tablet, both in good condition with some minor flaking to the paint and no inpainting. Clock is in very good, restored condition, clean refinish, dial is nicely repainted and replaced hands. Attr:Spencer Wooster & Co. Salem Bridge, Ct. Very nice form and a rare clock. 34 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
