Solle Marble & Bronze Portico Clock. 4.5 in. silvered dial with black painted Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands and gilt bronze filigree bezel; round brass 8 day spring driven movement is signed on the front plate ÂSolleÂ in an oval, has an half hour strike on a bell, quality gilt bronze gridiron pendulum with large relief filigree bob. In a verde marble case with turned columns, dore bronze capitols, feet and filigree mounts. In very nice overall condition. 20.5 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep. Weight: 36.5 lbs.

French Empire Black Marble Portico Clock. 4 in. brass dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and fancy gilt bronze bezel; quality round brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, long cast bronze gridiron pendulum has a leafy decorated bob and beat adjustment on the crutch. In a black marble case with 4 long columns having gilt bronze capitols, feet and pierced filigree mounts. Has a few minor chips to the case corners, but overall in very nice condition. 16.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Condition

the pendulum needs minor work at the suspension point, otherwise excellent with no damage or missing parts, the dial is perfect, all bronze elements are intact, good patina

Circa 1920 French Unsigned 8 Day Mantel Clock with 3″ Good original unsigned flat enamel dial, Circular brass spring driven bell strike movement, White Carrera marble portico clock with urn garnitures. Good condition with normal wear. Needs cleaning. 16″H x 7.5″W x 4″D

French Portico White Marble Clock: 8 day time with half hour bell striking movement, unmarked. It has a suspension like a free swinger to support the large pendulum ball. The 4 1/2″ porcelain ring dial is fractured by the 9 and again near the 12. It has a fancy center and bezel.

(The strike works, but has no hammer end. There are scattered chips on corners and edges.)
