3 Pc. French Figural Bronze Clock Set. 3.5 in. black painted metal dial with black incised Roman hour numerals, gold spade hands and beaded door bezel; typical round brass spring driven 8 day French movement is signed Japy Freres, has an half hour bell strike. Bronze case has a figural sculpture on top with seated figure of a woman playing a harp with sheet music in her hand and a young child standing beside her, the base has a splayed form with figural maidens heads on either side of the dial. With a matching pair of bronze side urns having double loop handles and relief decorated putti and maiden design wrapped around the bowl. In good overall condition with no breaks or repairs, urns are missing covers, 13 in. high. Clock measures 21 in. high x 14 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

The bronze case has a figural top with seated woman holding a tambourine looking up lovingly at the man seated beside her, his right arm is around her shoulder, he holds a sickle in his left hand and a woven back pack filled with grapes is on the ground beside him. 19 in. high x 14 in. wide x 6 in. deep

Depicted seated and holding the tablet of the Commandments. “p4A.com note: this bronze sculpture was likely produced by the Barbedienne Foundry in Paris. The sculpture is 18” tall. Circa 1838-1952.  The clock’s dimensions are 13.5 W x 8.5 H x 7 L. SELLING THE CLOCK AS IS! We are not sure if it works or not!
