Sewill Oak Mantle Clock. Oak case has a pointed roof with carved incising, carved and fluted side pilasters, brass door bezel with chamfered silvered interior reading “Sewill, Maker to the Royal Navy, Liverpool & London” and has a beveled door glass. Has a 5.5 in. silvered dial with brass back, figural putti corner spandrels and pierced black hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “W&H, SCH” for Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach. Case has a nice original finish, movement is missing its strike mechanism. 16.75 in. high x 12 in. wide x 7.25 in. deep.

Ansonia Oak Mantle Clock – Monarch w/ Alarm. 5 in. paper dial signed “Ansonia Clock Co., New York”, with black hands, Roman hour numerals and heavy cast gilt brass bass bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Ansonia Clock Co., New York”, has a half hour strike on a coiled gong and separate alarm mechanism striking a brass bell, 1 jar faux mercury pendulum bob with brass mounts. In an oak case with turned urn finial over a spelter maiden’s head mount, carved crest and side corbels with a single drawer in the base. In good condition, running and striking, has a partial “Monarch” label on the back, case is refinished. 24.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 5.75 in. deep.
