A 19th century Orton, Preston & Co. shelf clock. 30 hr time and strike weight driven wooden movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with carved crown above a single long door, flanked by full octagonal columns. Older refinishing in fair condition, replaced dial and crest, lacks door glasses, hands, and pendulum, veneer damage. 28″ high.

A shelf clock with three glasses, and two reverse painted showing a Mercury mirror above a reverse painted landscape (with losses of paint) in a fine mahogany carved and pillared case. Labeled as made by Williams, Orton Preston & Co. of Farmington, CT (1830-1835) with an unusual round eight day brass movement attributed to Silas B. Terry.

Williams, Orton, Preston & Co. Ogee Clock: With a 2 weight T&S wood movement and a painted wood dial. The 1/2 column wood case has reverse painted glass with a drum and flags on it. There is a paper label inside the case. The key, pendulum and weights are with the clock.
