A late 19th century Seth Thomas "Parlor Calendar No. 9" model double dial clock. 8-day time and strike movement with lower calendar mechanism, painted metal dials with Roman/Arabic numerals. Walnut case with shaped, molded top, shaped sides, single long door with carved scrollwork and molded base. Old finish with some wear, crown rings restored, replaced dials (old one on top, newer on bottom), replaced calendar mechanism, running when cataloged. 29 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $2,500-3,500

Seth Thomas Double Dial Fashion Calendar Clock: 8 day time with gong strike and 2- 8 1/2″ dials in a walnut case. Both dials have an 1876 patent date. The case is excellent.

Movement with Seth Thomas marks on front plate and obscured "Made for the Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis MO.". Walnut case with a molded octagon top over a single door and molded base. Refinished with extensive veneer loss, dial wear, lacks one knob on door, running when cataloged. 20" high. ESTIMATE $200-300

American Seth Thomas Rare & Unusual “Office Calendar #5″, Circa 1885, 14” original painted dials, minor flaking on dials, 8-day, brass weight driven calendar movement, very rare large walnut calendar clock with unique burl panels & unusual carving, upper dial has advertising for “John Finzer & Bros. Boot Jack Tobacco”, an advanced collector’s item with 1876 centennial patent date, excellent refinished condition with repairs to bottom case door, movements need cleaning & seem to work well. Height 47″.
