Seth Thomas Regulator No. 3 Clock. 14 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, spade hands and sub second dial; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has pyramidal plates, maintaining power, beat adjustment at the top, quality brass weight & pulley, ebonized wood stick and brass pendulum bob. Rosewood case with 10 sided top, long drop with original door glass and gilt inner border, turned finials at the base and original Seth Thomas label in the bottom of the case. In good overall condition and original finish with few minor losses and repairs to the veneer. 42 in. high x 20 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Original 12 in. painted metal dial has black hour numbers, sub seconds dial, original spade hands, brass bezel and signed Seth Thomas; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has pyramidal plates, Graham deadbeat escapement with jeweled pallets, maintaining power, quality brass pulley, brass covered weight, brass covered pendulum bob on ebonized wood stick and beat adjustment at the top of the crutch, movement signed with Seth Thomas trade mark. In a hanging mahogany case with long door glass, exposed silvered beat indicator in the back and a dark alligatored original finish. 56 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

This rare model has a 14 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and sub-seconds bit with Arabic 10 second markers, original black spade hands, dial is signed Seth Thomas; the 8 day pyramidal brass movement has a Graham dead-beat escapement, quality silvered brass weight, damascened brass pendulum bob with ebonized wood stick and original beat indicator, movement is signed. Dial, hands, weight, pendulum, are all original and in very good condition. 72 in. Massive walnut case has a carved crest and base with turned columns running the length of the door; in very good condition and original finish with a light overcoat.
