Has a 12 in. silvered dial signed ÂSeth Thomas with applied brass hour numbers, sub seconds dial, brass back plate, fancy pierced gilt brass filigree on the corner spandrels and in the center with pierced black hands and moon phase dial at the top; brass 8 day weight driven movement with pyramidal plates, has Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, half hour strike on a large coiled gong, brass covered weights, brass pulleys, brass covered pendulum bob with an ebonized wood stick. In a beautiful carved mahogany case with bonnet having scrolling broken arched crest, a large turned center finial, turned corner finials, carved filigree, fluted corner pilasters and pierced carved side panels; the case has large acanthus leaf carved corbels, seashell carving, fluted corner pilasters, beveled door glass, inset & carved lower panel and stands on large carved claw feet. In beautiful condition with an original finish. 100 in. high x 27 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

Seth Thomas Wall Regulator  Rio. 12 in. painted metal dial signed ÂSeth Thomas, Forestville, Conn. with black Roman hour numerals and blued spade hands; brass 8 day spring movement No. 44G signed with the Seth Thomas trade mark, has an hour strike on a coiled gong. In a walnut case titled ÂRio with round top, brass door bezel, lower drop with pierced carved corbels, brass mounts and original black & gilt reverse painted lower door glass. In good condition, running, case has an enhanced finish, dial is replaced, has its original paper label in the bottom of the case. 26 in. high x 17 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.
